The boys are ONNNN

Lee Mvtthews have collabed with kiwi drum and bass producer Trei to drop two brand new tunes today - "Lights Out" feat. NÜ  and "Control".

Get. In.

How. Good.

'Lights Out' sees the return of vocalist NÜ (who did vocals for Takeover) and will be hosted on UKF (that's massive). 'Control' will be premiered on BBC Radio One. Both tracks are signed with Viper, and a music video for 'Lights Out' to be released soon.

Pretty big achievements for the lads!

Here's what Viper had to say about Lee Mvtthews, Trei and their two new tracks.

New Zealand’s hottest new act Lee Mvtthews teams up with long-time Viper veteran Trei for a heavyweight new double-sided single on the esteemed imprint. Lee Mvtthews first grabbed Viper’s attention following their guest mix for Follow The Sun, the 24-Hour Worldwide DnB Marathon and accompanying compilation last year. Proving they could bring the heat behind the decks, the duo from Auckland have since proved their productions are equally hot, so it’s no surprise to see them team up with the absolute legend that is Trei. A man who needs no introduction, Trei made his debut on Viper ten years ago, and has since been responsible for some massive tunes such as “Tonto” with The Upbeats, “Rebels” with MC Tali, and, more recently, “Stars Will Fall” with Futurebound himself.

“Lights Out”, shows a softer side to the pairing and features NÜ on vocals. Endearing and colourful, NÜ’s vocals soar over vibrant production, creating a track that is both intense and elegant; that is, until the drop. Switching things up with a bit of neuro-energy, the track unfolds into something a bit more sinister, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.

“Control” delivers pure adrenaline right from the start, quickly building up into a drop that is pure dancefloor carnage. Loud and blazing, Trei and Lee Mvtthews deliver no-holds-barred high-octane drum & bass from the get go, and it would be criminal not to play this one at a high volume.

With two versatile but equally strong tracks, it’s clear to see that Lee Mvtthews and Trei are a match made in heaven. Perfectly embodying the Viper sound and celebrating the genre across the globe, “Lights Out” and “Control” are a strong addition to the Viper catalogue, leaving us more excited to get back to the rave than ever!
