Swedish House Mafia just dropped first new music in eight years

After loads of speculation, Sweedish House Mafia are back on the scene with new music after an 8-year hiatus!

'It Gets Better' is their first release since they dropped 'Until Now' back in 2012.

Their new single is a moody break from their regular EDM sound. The video for 'It Gets Better' has gloomy club visuals, identical nodding heads, with the trio seated on black thrones constructed of electrical wire.

Since their 2012 album 'Until Now' which included the Grammy-nominated track 'Don't You Worry Child' - the Swedish trio haven't produced any new music. Following rumours of trouble within the group, they separated in 2013 after their ironically named One Last Tour.

Swedish House Mafia started teasing on social that they were working together again. All three members sparked speculation about their possible reunion, sharing Insta posts and pics of themselves working in a home studio.

Earlier this week, posters with the image of three white dots and the date "16 / 07 / 21" were seen in Miami, Melbourne, and even Times Square in New York.

There's now further speculation we'll be getting more than just ‘It Gets Better’ as Swedish House Mafia will perform as musical guests on Monday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, alongside 070 Shake and Ty Dolla $ign.

Keep your eyes peeled for that one!
