Christchurch producer Azifm is next in an ever-growing line of young Kiwis making waves in the global drum and bass scene.
After dropping as the first single of an upcoming four-track EP signed to Workforce's label Must Make Music earlier this week, 'Take It Back' received a co-sign from the iconic drum and bass imprint UKF where it now sits among releases from the likes of Wilkinson, DJ Marky and Dimension.
'This was the first track I sent @jackworkforce when I first sent him some music,' the producer shared on Instagram. 'He didn’t get back to me straight away but I vividly remember him saying in one of his podcasts that you should always bug labels and piss them off with follow up emails so I emailed him until I got him too [sic] listen.'
'Once he did he said he loved it and asked me to write 3 more tracks for him.'
