Fatboy Slim is heading back to Brighton beach 20 years after his iconic show

20 years ago, Fatboy Slim doubled the population of Brighton with his Big Beach Boutique.

20 years after The Big Beach Boutique ii, Fatboy Slim's heading back to Brighton.

The event, which was called the 'biggest Sussex has ever seen'  saw 250,000 people pack the beach back in 2002. 

The crowd was more than 4 times the size of the expected crowd, growing from 40,000 the year before, and at the time doubled Brighton's population.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary, Fatboy Slim has announced he's performing on the beach again. 

"Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the most iconic dance event in modern history, Fatboy Slim will be returning to Brighton Beach to salute the biggest free party to ever take place on British soil - changing the UK’s musical landscape forever." said a spokesperson for the event.

Andy C, Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Shy FX, Dimension, Friction are just some of the musicians set to perform alongside Fatboy Slim for the latest in the Big Beach Boutique series.

George Drive recently spoke about the iconic 2002 show in their series 'Deep Dive'.
