‘Bad Dream’ is Pirapus’ grand, otherworldly adventure into half-time electronic music. The moment we made those hooky vocal chops on the drop, we felt like we were transported to Ultra Miami and knew we needed to finish the track. The lyrics were written from an escapist lens, envisioning a traveler who has rested for the night beside a campfire and is having a wild dream, reflecting on the angst in his life and hoping for something more. A colossal stack of synth chords and basses on the drop represent the intense visions and beings in the dreams whilst the vocals serve as a narrator and dream guide.
