EMILIE aka Emily Whitnall is a 20 year old female producer from Christchurch New
Zealand. EMILIE learnt how to produce in 2017/18 during high school but it didn’t
really click and she didn’t find much passion towards it. But in 2022 she fell in love
with producing and finds it so rewarding being able to share her hard work to
everyone at gigs!
Her inspirations would have to be a lot of the UK garage producers out there, to name a few it would definitely have to be Breaka, Interplanetary Criminal and Main Phase. The sounds these three producers create are incredible and have really inspired her to create similar stuff.
Generations is a speed garage tune that was originally meant to be an instrumental
called ‘Cold’ (the name is due to having a horrible cold after 121 festival decided to
make this track instead of sleeping lol) But after a long think something was missing
which was…. LYRICS!! After finding the perfect lyric playing around with it,
everything clicked and that’s how ‘Generations’ was created. EMILIE is extremely proud of this track and hope people can enjoy it as much as she does.
