It’s not often ya get a tune from a relatively new producer that comes out the gates with such heat and velocity like the one in mention today. To be fair, we should have seen it coming though.
Wellington producer & DJ ‘ROVA’ is on a hefty trajectory, in the short time he’s been producing and putting out tunes he's already been in the running for a couple Drum & Bass Arena Awards in 2023. Being nominated for ‘Best NewComer & Best Track’, narrowly missing out due to gargantuan tunes like Badadan.
This tune is a sure fire way to activate ya bass face when the drop comes in, it's just a real grunter, and as the saying goes, the loudest grunter gets the most attention, and attention ‘Eyes On Me’ has received. Drum & Bass royalty Chase & Status dropped it mid set during their Ultra Music Festival Miami set. UN-REEEEAAALLLLL!
BUZZY MINI FACT ALERT! - ROVA - Eyes On Me, was released on Dunedin based label Pollen Archive, which was also nominated in the same arena awards as mentioned above.
ROVA alludes to the name of the track ‘Eyes on Me’ being attached to a feeling, of all eyes currently being on him, waiting with baited breath to see what he does next, which he doesn’t mind, as he can’t wait to show them what he has installed next.
