All Blacks star first-five Beauden Barrett has popped the question to partner Hannah Laity and apparently received the desired response.
Posting on Instagram on Monday, Ms Laity announced that Barrett had made her “feel like the luckiest girl alive” and signed off “#SoonToBeMrsB”.
Barrett confirmed the engagement on his account.
"She's a tough one to surprise but I got her good this time. Thankfully she said yes! #FutureMrsB"
The pair have been sharing a surprise holiday at the Tokoriki Island Resort in Fiji, where they have posted up a storm on social media.
They have been dating more than three years and took a big step towards nesting 12 months ago, when they welcomed a Miniature Schnauzer named Monty into their household.
Ms Laity is an accountat and social media influencer. Barrett is twice World Rugby Player of the Year (2016 & 2017) and was a key contributor to the All Blacks' 2015 World Cup triumph.
