Pastafarians, those who worship pasta, are no longer allowed to wear their colanders in ID pictures

The Netherlands have now banned the wear of colanders in official forms of identification.

The sporting of colanders comes from the controversial religion 'Pastafarianism', the worship of the Flying Spaghetti Monster which is actually recognised as a legitimate religion in both New Zealand and The Netherlands.

Unfortunately for Pastafarians in The Netherlands, although they may remain practising their religion, they just can't wear their spaghetti straining utensils as headwear.

We reminisce on the Kiwi boy who preached so hard that he got to wear a colander in school ID.
