Holy shit, Gorillaz are back and they're firing shots at Trump
Gorillaz have released their first song in six years, and they're ready to fight Trump.
The just-dropped track is called 'Hallelujah Money' which looks into the president-elect's two favourite themes of power and money through big business, also his less liked subject of humanity.
This is what bassist Murdoc Niccals has to say about the tune:
"In these dark times, we all need someone to look up to. Me. That's why I'm giving you this new Gorillaz song, a lightning bolt of truth in a black night. You're welcome. Now piss on! The new album's not gonna write itself."
The lyrics take constant digs at Donald Trump and the way he wants to run the US. The band teamed up with 2015 Mercury prize winner Benjamin Clementine to mark the upcoming inauguration.
