LISTEN: Flume drops first studio album since 2016

8 fresh tracks, how good.

After releasing a string of singles to start the year, Aussie legend Flume's highly anticipated third studio album Palaces has arrived.

Following on from lead single 'Say Nothing' with MAY-A, the full 13 track offering is now here and packed with features from the likes of Oklou, KUCKA, Caroline Polachek and the Gorillaz' Damon Albarn.

Flume's last album was 2016's 'Skin' - which took out Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

On making music and the new album, Flume told DJ Mag “I get bored quite easily. When artists make music that’s mostly the same for their entire career, I’m always mind boggled as to how they can do that.”

“It would just drive me insane. I don’t necessarily feel like I want to make something different, I just have to. It’s not optional. I have to constantly change. Otherwise I won’t be able to do music, because I won’t be excited about it.”
