House duo OTOSAN announce the project's end

It's been a hell of a run.

Kiwi/Aussie/Irish duo and George favourites Otosan have announced the end of the project after a few pretty massive years.

The house music DJ/producer duo shared the news on social media, with both Ultan and Ryan giving thanks and sharing a few highlights from their musical journey.

'The past few years have been an amazing ride for both of us but sadly the time has come for the Otosan journey to come to an end,' the announcement reads.

'We started out with no real ambitions beyond making a couple of cheeky bootlegs and it well and truly exceeded all expectations either of us could have imagined at the time.'

'We would like to send a huge thank you to all of the labels, collaborators, promoters, DJs, radio stations, and fans that have supported us over the years (there are far too many to mention but extra special shoutout to Our:House presents, George FM & TMRW Music).

You allowed us to live out many of our musical dreams and it's something that we will treasure forever.

You can catch Ultan playing a couple of final Otosan shows this and next month, finishing up at Southern Sounds Festival Sep 10th. Make sure you give the dancefloor one final stomp for us.

Lots of love always Ryan & Ultan x.'

With millions of streams to their name and massive collaborations with dance music icons like Shadow Child, Carrie Baxter and Marten Horger under their belts - the duo can step away from Otosan with incredible pride.

Definitely a bittersweet announcement but we'd love to wish Ultan and Ryan the best of luck with their future endeavours.
