Absolutely ridiculous scenes on the Balenciaga website show a yellow high vis jacket on sale for $5500 (NZD).
The Men’s Reversible Parka in Yellow, made in Italy from 100% polyester, is up for sale for a bank-breaking amount but, why?
With its technical ripstop fabric, cocoon shape, foldable hood with drawstrings and the unclear Balenciaga branding on the front & back - we can’t see much difference between the high-end jacket and one you can grab down the road from a local store!
We will admit it does look like quality, but who can justify paying $5500 for a work jacket? Huge yikes.
What do you reckon? Is it worth the investment, or are they flogging us for everything we’ve got?
