Coachella music festival 2022 has scrapped many of it's covid precautions, ahead of their first festival since the pandemic this April.
While the festival has not made a public announcement yet, their heatlh and safety guidelines on their website have been updated.
Festival goers are no longer required to return a negative covid test or show proof of vaccination to attend the festival.
Coachella’s festival rules also state that protocol “may change at any time" as determined by federal, state or local government agency. These changes may include a proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID test and other measures such as requirements to wear face coverings.
The changes have been made following California's new state-wide end of madatory masks that was put in place earlier this week.
The festival kicks off from April 15th-17th and 22nd-24th with headlining acts of Kanye West, Harry Styles, Billie Eillish and Swedish House Mafia.
Other incredible acts featured at the festical include Flume, Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Daniel Caesar, Logic 1000, Fatboy Slim and many, many more.
The festival is expected to run at full capacity which is 125,000 each day, meaning over a 6-day period across 2 weekends the festival could gather a total of up to 750,000.
Don't wanna look at that lineup for too long or we'll get mad FOMO...
