Taking place in Belgium over three weekends, Tomorrowland is expected to have over 600,000 in attendance. That's a helluva lot of people.
Savage was a guest performer for Timmy Trumpet, who brought him out on the ‘Mainstage’ to perform their classic hype song ‘Freaks’.
Have a look at the footage below and try not to get pumped.
P-Money posted a story on his gram to recognise the performance that Savage “smashed”.
“With his lengthy career Savage is still one of the most underrated NZ success stories,” he said on the story.
"His accomplishments are rarely matched. Always inspired by his work rate and consistency. Over 20 years in the game. From S.A to the world. IYKYK.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself mate.
Another Kiwi going off at the biggest EDM festival in the world is DJ Montell 2099.
He had an hour-long set on the ‘NetSky & Friends’ stage during the day and it looked like an absolute ball of a time. Sharing heaps of fan-filmed footage to his Insta story, as well as posting a P.O.V TikTok, it looks like he had the rowdy crowd in the palm of his hands.
Montell also took to his story to share his thoughts on the set, which he called “one of the best sets of [his] life.” He also showed love to all his fellow New Zealanders in the crowd.
“Huuuuge shout out to all the kiwis that came out and showed love,” he said.
“Was amazing to look out there and see a see of New Zealand flags.
Another couple of Kiwi DJs, Sachi, are set to take the ‘Netsky’ stage next week and we’re sure they’ll absolutely kill it and make us proud doing what they do best.
When it was announced they'd be on the lineup, they talked to our George Breakfast team about performing among legendary acts. Check out that interview below.
Always good to see local talent get international recognition, and it doesn’t get much bigger than a festival with 600,000 in the crowd on the other side of the world.
