Andy C to be the first DNB artist to headline O2 Arena and he’s doing it with a five-hour set

Andy Andy Andy!

One of the godfathers of Drum and Bass, Andy C, is set to make history as the first-ever DNB artist to be the main attraction for a show at London’s O2 arena, and he’s going to do it with a whopping five-hour set.

He made the announcement via his Instagram in a video where he’s standing on top of the iconic arena.

“I can’t believe it… we’re going to The O2 ARENA LONDON!” he wrote in the caption.

“A 5hr set, brand new immersive visual show & production, Alive 2.0, a true celebration of our amazing music… Drum and Bass”.

Fuuark me that sounds incredible.

He says that it’s hard to fathom how far he’s come as a DNB artist, before showing love to all his fans.

“Throughout my career I’ve had the honour to play in places & venues beyond my imagination.”

“I’ve had the chance to share the love and vibes that only drum and bass can bring with so many of you and I can’t believe we have reached a venue as iconic as the O2 Arena London… absolutely insane! 🤯”

“Thank you for coming on this journey with me… we’re taking it to another level … I’ll see you there 🙌”

Honestly, no one is better suited to bring DNB to O2 than old mate Andy C. If you’ve ever been to an NZ music festival you have more than likely seen Andy absolutely killing it on the decks and bringing the vibe up a couple of notches.

Andy C is synonymous with DNB and he is a huge reason the genre has blown up in the last decade.

The show - which is called Alive 2.0 - will take place on Easter Friday, April 7th next year, and you can sign up for presale tickets at the link in Andy’s Instagram bio.
