Lee Mvtthews are doing a two-hour pop-up set to raise funds for Cyclone Gabrielle relief

Get amongst it for a great cause!

The Lee Mvtthews fellas have decided to pull through for Kiwis in need by doing a two-hour pop-up set to raise funds for Cyclone Gabrielle relief, legends.

It’ll take place at Auckland’s The Mothership tomorrow (Saturday) night from 8 pm - 10 pm. Entry is a minimum $10 donation and 100% of proceeds will go towards the relief.

“It’s been such a difficult time for a lot of New Zealanders, so we wanted to do something to help those in need,” they wrote in an Instagram post.

You’ve got to RSVP, which you can do on their website, and then once you’re there it’s first in first served from the RSVP list.

The turbulent weather has meant they’ve had to cancel shows so they just want to get a party in and help out.

“Righto battlers, like everyone else, we’ve been gutted with all the show cancellations due to the devastating weather,” they say on their website. “We’ll catch ya for a beer then we'll hop on the decks with no real game plan - just 2 lads winging it - playing heaters and unreleased music."

The lads said they’re taking requests as well, so if you’ve got any tracks you’ve been digging lately, they’ll chuck ‘em in the set. You can DM them or comment on the Instagram post with any tunes you want to hear them play.

This is such a good call from Tom and Graham - one thing better than partying is partying for a good cause, so get amongst.

If you can’t make it but still wanna help out (or just want to provide a helping hand even if you plan on going), visit this page for how you can volunteer to help clean up, or donate money and/or goods. Any help will go a long way for those that need it.
