Seven unreal female electronic artists you should absolutely be bumping in 2023

Keep your eyes and ears out for this talented bunch delivering noice tunes.

It's International Woman's Day today, so we're putting you onto a few female DJs/producers who will get you moving and grooving any time you chuck 'em on and bump the speakers to 11. Make sure to keep track of them all year, not just today!

LP Giobbi
LP Giobbi is an American DJ & Producer, making beautiful house & electronica - 'Forever And a Day' was a George summer staple, while 'Can’t Let You Go' is a current George Chillsville favourite.

Recently here in Aotearoa supporting the legendary Fatboy Slim, we’re loving her tunes.

She is also the founder of FEMME HOUSE, an educational platform fostering more equitable opportunity for women and gender-expansive individuals in music."

Nia Archives
UK producer & DJ amongst the sounds of DNB & jungle, recently nominated for a BRIT Rising Star Award.

Recent summer anthem 'Baiana' sampled classic Brazilian track 'Baiana' by Barbatuques, and her latest chill DNB number 'Conveniency' has been on high rotate on George & Chillsville lately.

TSHA
Mashing up influences from house, UKG, breakbeat & beyond, we’ve loved TSHA’s fresh unique sound.

Her 2022 album 'Capricorn Sun' was a masterpiece, with several tracks - especially the anthemic 'Only L' and smooth 'Dancing In The Shadows' - setting the George airwaves alight. We can’t wait to hear what’s next for her in 2023.

Bklava
Coming straight out of London and lately bursting onto our radar with her tune 'It’s Your Time', which has been a George Nights favourite this year.

A sick DJ, producer & singer - check out her Boiler Room set here.

Pixie Lane
George Nights own Pixie Lane dropped her debut solo track ‘Frequency’ with Kazi Flip & Rose late last year, which cranked on George over summer.

EMWA
Also a George Nights resident, EMWA’s fatter bass-heavy sound has seen her blow up in the local gig scene, headlining shows all over Aotearoa.

Recently profiled in Rolling Stone, the only way is up for EMWA!

Check out legendary radio host Zane Lowe reacting to her tune 'Show Me The Way' when he visited George Breakfast last year.

Elipsa
DJ, Producer and incredible singer Elipsa has had multiple songs tear up the George airwaves, like 'Make It Up To Me' and 'Underground'.

She’s also going global, having worked with superstar international DJs Kanine and Enei.

Sky's the limit for Elipsa in '23!
