Snackachangi just unveiled their new range of flavours and we got to chow down on them.
The new 'American Diner' flavours will only be available for a month and have been revealed as American Hot Dog, Spicy Jalapeño and Cheese and Cheese and Bacon loaded fries.
The American Hot Dog flavour was a favourite for most of us here at George. Do whatever you want with that information.
Leigh Hart, the man behind Snackachangi, popped into MediaWorks and told us that if one of the new flavours is a hit, it’d be here to stay at the expense of one of the OG flavours.
“If one of the flavours really rocks it, it might replace one of the other flavours we already got,” he said before ensuring they’re good for the environment. “They are still made from free-range, non-caged potatoes.”

There are currently six Snackachangi flavours in rotation - Vinegar & Salt, Salted, BBQ, Sour Cream Chive & Onion, Sweet Chilli, and Chickan. So it'll be one of those saying bye-bye if an America Diner flavour tickles the fancy of New Zealanders.
Snackachangis are pretty fantastic chips in my humble opinion. They’ve got a thickness and sturdiness like no other chip on the market, making them absolutely A-1 for plunging in your dip of choice.
The packaging of the new flavours contains that classic Snackachangi artwork of ol’ Great Uncle Kenny coming to the rescue against a few different crazy creatures.
If you’re keen to get your mitts on one or all of the new flavours, keep your eyes peeled in supermarkets and dairies across the nation. And remember, for now, they’re only available for a month.
