Heinz's newest t-sauce flavour could either ruin kickons feeds or revolutionise them

Can see this being absolutely demolished by that one mate.

Ketchup is an absolute staple at kickons. Pickles, not as much. Heinz is thinking combining the two could change the game.

I don't know if anyone was outright asking for a pickle-flavoured ketchup - what's wrong with normal ketchup? However, seeing as t-sauce and pickles have been a combination for generations I kind of get it.

Does that justify it becoming a condiment? Heinz’s director of Innovation Katie Peterson believes so.

“Increased desire for tasty, yet unexpected condiments has served as our innovation north star for the last several years,” she said.

“The current pickle craze mirrors the irrational love HEINZ fans have for the brand, so it only made sense for our newest ketchup to blend these two beloved tastes together.”

‘Pickle craze’ is right. A new survey found that 73% of Americans love fermented cucumber, pickle potato chips exist and there is even those really sour pickle lollies at the supermarket.

Kiwi pickle lovers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the new sauce. It’s currently available in the UK but won’t be available in other countries until later this year or early next year.

Honestly, the pickle ketchup is tame af compared to last year, when Hells made a pizza with legit blood in their sauce.

They recreated the iconic steak and cheese pie in the form of a vegetarian pizza, using Fable plant-based steak - made from Shiitake mushrooms - instead of the real deal.

Here's where things get kind of freaky though. In order to "ensure their meat-loving customers don't feel their blood boil at the news of the vegetarian pizza", Hell offered an optional side of 'To-Meat-O Sauce', infused with capsules of deer blood.

We got to try it and it kind of wrecked us.

I hope all you pickle lovers enjoy the heck out of the sauce when it gets here because I will not be.
