'Leaked' Fred Again schedule with NZ tour dates sends fans wild as Auckland Uni teases gig

You tease me.

Fred Again has been tearing it up in Australia after he announced shows seemingly out of nowhere. Before he arrived in Aussie, he also seemed to tease New Zealand shows when he posted a scene from ‘Lord Of The Rings’ on his Instagram story.

That was three weeks ago and, as we all know, still no word on if he’s coming here. However, there has been a couple pieces of what may be evidence and many Kiwi fans are convinced they’ll be front left at a Fred concert in mere weeks.

One screenshot of his supposed tour schedule has been spread around more than the address of a house party back in year 11. It isn’t confirmed in the slightest and its origins are unknown, but it schedules Fred to arrive in Auckland on Friday the 22nd of March and play two shows at Spark Arena on Tuesday the 26th and Wednesday the 27th.

The University of Auckland had fans fiending when they posted a TikTok teasing that the British DJ was coming. In an empty lecture hall, text on a massive screen says that they “have something we would like to announce” but can’t right now, so stay tuned until they post “again..”.

Before the last slide, a muffled audio clip of Fred’s tune ‘leavemealone’ starts playing.

This is highly likely to be BS. Their social media team loves a bit of chat and has made similar posts recently. They've shared a Playboi Carti visual mix on the projectors this past week as well as a 'Dune 2' mini montage. It just seems like they've been let loose in the lecture theatres now and are having fun doing it.

And why tf would Fred tell the University of Auckland before anyone else?

There are also plenty of one-off comments floating around from people who heard something from their mate’s cousin’s dog. One person mentioned something about a boat party in Wellington (which would be epic) while others reckon he'll play at Auckland's Touch Bass festival later this month.

The only real news is that there’s nothing to confirm yet and we will let you know if and when he does.
