Since Avicii's death in 2018, his family have been set on raising awareness around mental health, launching the Tim Bergling Foundation and now announcing a special performance to raise awareness and celebrate the life of the late producer/DJ.
The Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness is set to take place December 5th in Avicii's hometown of Stockholm, Sweden.
19 of Avicii’s original collaborators - including Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert and Rita Ora - will perform alongside a 30-piece band.
DJs on the lineup include David Guetta, Kygo, Laidback Luke, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.
“Tim had plans for his music to be performed together with a large live band,” Avicii’s father Klas explained. “And now we are realizing his dream and giving fans a chance to experience his music in this unique way.”
Tickets go on sale from Friday with proceeds going to the Tim Bergling Foundation.
