Aussie DJ FISHER has delivered a classic FISHER moment after telling a loose audience member to climb off the stage rigging in a way only he can.
Paul Nicholas Fisher, fresh off taking the piss during a breakfast news show appearance, showed off his wordsmithing ability during his set at Spilt Milk festival in the Gold Coast. After spotting the fan climbing up the stage rigging, FISHER shouts out two beautiful sentences.
“Hey you mad c*nt you gotta get down or I gotta stop this shit!” GQ Australia's ‘Best Solo Artist of the Year’ screamed with an incredible Aussie accent.
“Everyone will FUCK you in the ass if you don’t fuck off!”
Truly an awesome moment in Australian folklore. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear this sampled in plenty of mixes over the summer Maybe even the next Fred Again track will make use of it - ‘Paul (everyone will fuck you in the ass if you don’t fuck off)’.
Last week, The Fish made a massive announcement on his TikTok - he will be “throwing and curating” a European festival in June of next year.
He made the announcement on a new TikTok account called ‘triipfestival’, so I’m gonna guess the festival will be called ‘TRIIP’.
For the first 50 seconds of the video, FISHER is just trying to get through the announcement without absolutely cracking up at himself - which makes for some great viewing.
“Yesss, what’s going on it's the FIIIIISH. I’m just here to tell you we’re gonna get TRII-” he says in his first attempt before the classic laugh of his takes over.
When he does get through it, he informs us that it’s going to take place from the 2nd to the 4th of June and he’ll be “curating the stages and the lineup and everything that goes with it.”
