One Fred Again fan has legitimately lived the dream after getting invited to the DJ superstar’s house party.
Fred posted to his Instagram story saying the first twenty people to reply would get invited to the rooftop shindig. Bella Jones was one of those people and documented her night out, with her footage going viral.
In a TikTok that has racked up a million views, Bella writes that it was “an intimate house party with 30 of Fred’s friends.” Her footage shows Fred parked up with a controller, a keyboard and a single CDJ on a fold-out camping table as the sun sets and people dance around him.
Comments on Bella’s TikTok are full of people who are insanely jealous of her.
“How does it feel to live my dream?” asked one person.
“GOD I wish it was me,” wrote another.
“I don’t have words really,” a third added. “So lucky and happy for you”.
“You are winning,” one more said.
Fred himself posted about the house party, saying it was a chance for him to meet the family of Obangjayar, who he collabed with on his latest single ‘adore you’.
“So on the weekend I got to meet Obonjayar’s brother and sister for the first time!” he wrote alongside a video of him dancing with the family. “This was when we played ‘adore you! (For the first time of a few lol).”
Fred is not afraid of having a good time with his fans. When he visited New Zealand earlier this year, he started a chess addiction and partook in a pub quiz with a group of lucky Wellingtonians.
He made an Instagram compilation post introducing and thanking the Welly locals he met, as well as showing what he got up to during the rest of his time in the city.
Fred’s commitment to genuinely interacting with his fans is one of the main reasons he has become the star he is (besides his music of course) and inviting random followers to a house party is a perfect example of that.
