Fred again.. just announced a release date for his highly anticipated third album and dropped a new single off the album to celebrate.
‘Actual Life 3 (January 1 - September 9 2022)’ will be blessing our ears on October 28th this year, Fred said on his Instagram late last night.
“Okayyyy SO I am so so really very VERY happy to say that Actual Life 3 will be out on October 28th!!!!!” the caption reads.
“You can pre-order it today and the first song 'Danielle (smile on my face)' is out nowwwww!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
People have been pleading and begging for Fred to drop 'Danielle (smile on my face)' since it appeared in his incredible, transcendent even, Boiler Room set at the end of July this year. The track samples 070 Shake’s song ‘Nice to Have’.

‘Actual Life 3’ is, of course, the follow-up to Fred’s previous projects ‘Actual Life (April 14 - December 17) and ‘Actual Life 2 (February 2 - October 15). We’re gonna guess the album will follow the diary-esque format of these previous two albums, with loads of sampling and filling that niche chill/dance void that Fred has come to be loved and known for.

A new album dropping just in time for Kiwi summer is just the cherry on top of an unreal 2022 for Fred and his fans, old and new. The Boiler Room set he did this year (which we may never stop talking about because it’s that good) has now become the most viewed Boiler Room of all time.
